Course Objective :
This course aims to increase the practical knowledge of the basic and advanced rig mathematics used daily in rig site.
It starts from the very basic summation and multiplication functions and raises to the basic functions of well control equations and volumetric evaluations related to drilling operation on rig site.

We recommend personnel in the following positions should attend the appropriate level of training and assessment:
Basic Rig mathematics: Roustabouts, Floor men and Derrick Men – related to the basic calculations of tanks capacities, involved in basic measurements of lengths of tubulars, Basic preparations for mud, etc…
Advanced Rig Mathematics: A.Ds to Rig managers – Who need to perform advanced calculations regarding Ton miles, stuck pipe calculations, Hydraulics, drill string design, etc…
